Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Company Chef to join our Johannesburg team.
This role is ideal for a culinary professional who enjoys engaging with people and sharing their expertise. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our Sales Team through product demonstrations, customer training, and culinary presentations using our range of catering equipment.

Main Duties Will Include but Will Not Be Limited To:

  • Conduct live cooking demonstrations for clients, trade shows, and in-house events to highlight the performance and versatility of our catering equipment.
  • Provide product training to customers, sales representatives, and service teams on the correct use, care, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Assist the Sales Team with pre- and post-sales support, including equipment setup, menu development, and practical application advice.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop demonstration videos, recipes, and promotional material.
  • Support new product launches by developing recipes, conducting trials, and gathering feedback.
  • Maintain demonstration kitchens, ensuring that equipment is clean, functional, and presentation-ready.
  • Provide technical feedback from customers to the sales teams to support continuous improvement.
  • Assist in creating and conducting training programs for clients and internal staff.
  • Provide valuable assistance with product research and development.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate.
  • Recognised Culinary qualification (e.g., Diploma in Professional Cookery or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a professional kitchen or as a demonstration chef.
  • Experience with commercial catering equipment is highly advantageous.
  • Sales experience will be an advantage in contributing to the overall sales for the business across brands

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to train, engage, and inspire both culinary and non-culinary audiences.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
